A sign for a near-future release? Maybe, but at least Amazon usually ships before the release date so you may receive it before they're even available in stores.

 

dammit...i dunno if i should pre order this or pre order star craft 2 from gamestop. i got a $10 off coupon from gamestop so it'll only be $39.99 for star craft 2. *scratches head*

 

I just pre-ordered D3 and Amazon gave me $20 off. Not sure if this is for discount is for everyone, but @ $39.99 + no tax + free shipping, I'm going with Amazon

 

Could be a past offer, like CODMW2 had a $20 off on any future games you purchase. But seems like a good deal if its not that.

Diablo 3 hasn't even been anounced if it's half way done. almost complete, when beta phase will begin etc. It may be a long wait

 

I think I remember reading somewhere release date may be late 2010 or 2011.

Long wait, but judging what I have already seen, it's worth it.

But I got Starcraft 2 on pre-order from gamestop. Guy I did the order with told me "You know it's not coming out until June".......either he knows something I don't or they were just given a random date which means nothing.

 

Gah! I have been waiting for this game when I was still in College! Now I gotta wait another year!

They are just toying with me now.

 

Ya I know the feeling, I fire up Diablo 2 about once a month just for the fun of it. I hear they are about to release a new patch for Diablo 2.....talk about keeping up development. Though i'd rather they just focus on Diablo 3.

 

Oh man, the 3d graphics on the trailer were amazing, as usual with Blizzard's animations!

 

I'm an immense Diablo fan, so this is excellent news. I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for Blizzard to create a solid game - but here's hoping to no later than 2011!

 

The new patch has been in the making for almost a year now, lol. Though if I recall it should enable higher resolutions and respecing.

 

Cataclysm is more important than Diablo 3.

11 million users need to get rid of $50 this year!

 

I'm thinking during D3 development Blizzard discovered,

"Hey, y'know with the way Diablo 3 is going we can just port the code out as a major patch for Diablo 2 and it will be the same! There really isn't a need for a Diablo 3 but now that the Great Hype Machine is in full gear we will sell it anyway."

Then the team goes back to swimming in their WoW bank account vault.
