Uuuh.. ok, no idea how that happened LMAO!

Basically, until I can afford a new laptop I am working with a 15" 2.4Ghz C2D 9600M GT with Windows XP. With heavy over clocking what kind of performance can I expect on D3? I got 30-40 fps on medium with SC2.

Well I hope you get medium. I have a Radeon 4650 to hold the fort while I'm waiting for my laptop to arrive. I'll happily play on low or medium settings as long as there is no lag.

Is this game CPU or GPU heavy? I have a weak CPU E8500 C2D and an ATI 6870 which runs my games decently with the exception of the Witcher 2. :(

In my opinion, it's pretty evenly balanced. I played the Beta on two different configurations. My main laptop which sports a 580m and a i7 2760 obviously ran it maxed out at 1080p. My secondary laptop which has a 280m and a core 2 duo ran it on medium/high settings at 720p.

it was on sale on newegg for $10 off , no promise on release day shipping.

Also there may still be discount if you order from Amazon UK.

The beta ran OK-ish on all max settings at 1080p (frequent dips to low fps but fairly playable) and ran great turned down a couple notches on my desktop which is a dual core e2180 and a 9800 GT.

9600M GT will need to lower settings and/or resolution a fair amount but should still be able to get by.

I was using my HP HDX18 Core 2 Quad 2.0GHz 9600M GT during the beta (before I got my R3) and was playing high @ 1080P. GPU can handle it, my problem was more on the CPU temp going as high as low-90s during mob fights.

    Thanks guys!

Hmm I wonder if I should over clock my CPU?

And do you think I'd get a significantly better performance on Windows 7 over XP?

It was 3 day shipping and the price to ship brought it right back up to almost 59.99.
