The messy look is just because of the effects (grain etc.) used to manipulate the image to get the dirty Diablo look. Of course, this wouldn't be so much the case if the actual textures on 3D objects were changed by the game's developers. But you agree with the color scheme?

    shrug

i'm sure they've tested and played around w/ many art style and coloring scheme before settling on the one shown in presentation. the people who work at Blizzard are some of the most passionate and talented artists and i'm sure they considered all possibilities had good reason to go w/ cartoon-ish art style much like WoW. maybe for mass appeal to people of all ages? or maybe it's just a general direction the lead designer wants to take? i guess they had no reason to change the formula after the success of WoW. maybe this will be a turn off for some people but i'm sure they have a lot more to gain then to lose. but judging from the screenshot manipulation alone the one on the right gives a better diablo feel than the one on the left.

I hope the game supports LAN Coop, would be damn fun to play it through with a friend in Coop. I don´t think the game is so demanding on the GPU nor CPU. Blizzard is known to have very well optimized games.

Also glad they sticked to isometric, who needs a first person view?. We are all too much tied up in FPS games today. Am I the only one who appreciated a deviation into the isometric realm instead of the kiddie "I need FPS view for god damn´s sake or the game looks bad graphically"

i dont think lan support will be needed since you can just form your party with your friend online.

That would be kinda stupid, if they didn't.

Because you can't be online all the time if you do like a LAN party and you're offline...
