    you will get more info at BlizzCon 09 which is next month I believe. I would assume it will come out Q4 2010 or Q1 2011

    It's Blizzard...when they announce something it means they've just started thinking about it. SC2 was announced in like 07 and it's almost 10. It's gonna be awhile man. Not to mention they have like 4 other projects going on. Not every company likes to put out a mediocre game every 6 months like some...Instead they put years into making a high quality product every time.

    Looking at the material they've published on diabloiii.net, I'd say Blizzard are still some way from getting the game to a beta stage, so there's another 1-2 years to go before a proper release.

    I also cant see it being released before mid next year, they are taking their time and im expecting a top quality product, id rather wait longer and get the desired game than have it pushed out to soon and have it half finished and buggy.

    Time is about right, Starcraft 2 is going to come out end of this year or (more likely) beginning of next year.

    Diablo 3 was announced a year after SC2 so it would logically follow that it would come out either end of 2010 or beginning of 2011
