A friend gave me his Guest Pass, but it seems Blizzard made an error and printed an invalid code on the paper. I wrote Blizz a ticket about this and sent them the scan of the paper but if they decline my request and they deny to activate the starter edition on my account/send me a valid key, then I would like a code myself.

 

I'd like a code too please.

Is there a way to download ahead of time so if I get a code I don't have to download then?

 

I can't find the US downloader, but here is the EU: Diablo 3 download

Technially both US and EU clients are the same, the game is global so it does not matter where you download the client.

Funds are a little low at the moment to justify purchasing a game at full price so if anyone has a guest pass I'd be very grateful.

never got into Diablo franchise...would like to know what all the fuzz is about. if you have any extra pass (after giving away to people req before me), I wouldn't mind testing it out. Hopefully, it will run on 525M.

Started downloading last night, went to bed get up, and it stalled at 3GB.

 

That sucks.

It's a pretty big download too, glad I had the disk to put it on my laptop as using the work wifi would have taken a month.

Yay optical drives do have a purpose

 

I don't think I'll buy the game, but the trial will be enough to satiate my curiosity and also do some benchmarking.
