Just got beta access last week.

The game is everything I dreamed of and more.

As for the intro cinematic ... I'm not too impressed. the DII intro was so captivating, so spine-tingling, and as the Diablo II letters flashed upon the screen right at the end of the cinematic, I couldn't wait to jump right into the game.

I did not feel this for the DIII intro. Sure, it was cool (especially the hand-drawn images coming to life and a massive tidal wave of angels spewing from the heavens to fight the demons of hell) ... However I didn't get that goose-bumpy feeling I get from some game intros.

Why not? I think one has to do with the fact that it wasn't story driven at all. It was a good intro to ActI but no the game itself. Sadly, I think a lot of it also had to do with the extremely poor voice acting of Cain (pretty sure its not the original Cain ...). And why did Leah have to scream "Uncllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeee" at the end ... that was so cheesy. Shoulda just showed her in a state of shock and then flash the DIII symbol.

Sure I'm nitpicking, but I was really hoping for more. I enjoyed the Azmodan/Leah cinematic that was released at blizzcon much more than the intro that's for sure. So I'm sure there will be other great cinematics in the game. Blizzard always makes the best.
