Just received my new P170EM today and wanted to check out my graphic card details to then find out I have Intel Graphics 4000. Am I just clueless; is this the wrong graphics card? I was supposed to get ATI HD 7970M. First time with AMD so not sure :/

To elaborate a bit, you have two graphics cards: the HD4000 IGP which is on the Intel CPU chip, and the AMD 7970M. You have switchable graphics, where the HD4000 is for the day-to-day stuff and the 7970M is for things like games.

Yeh just realized I do lol...i'm really nooby with PC's. Can I set it so that it permanently recognizes it?
-
Ah thanksWhy does AMD do this? Used to Nvidia where it didn't matter.

I'm not familiar with how Enduro works, but if it's anything like NVidia Optimus you should be able to pick what programs the 7970M will use, so that it activates when you start them.
EDIT:

The HD4000 IGP is used when not gaming to preserve power and battery life.
The 7970M is used when you fire up games.
The switching back and forth between HD4000 and 7970M happens automatically. There are rare episodes where the system can`t reckognize that you are actually gaming and it is "stuck" and running the HD4000 instead of the 7970M, so all you have to do is use the driver software and select the game and select 7970M as GPU. So next time you fire up the game it will use the 7970M automatically -
enjoy the beastly machine bro, put some games on and rock!
