    Did I go too high?

    i overclocked with atitool and got a stable clock but riva tuner charts shows this.(look at PIC)



    riva tuner shows that my shader clock is over 1500. is my max suppose to be at 1500?

    looks like a very mild overclock, alot of 8600GTS are factory overclocked with those specs.

    this is the highest i can go w/o getting artifacts for 1 hour

    core, shader, and memory. but i want to know if my shader is too high because riva tuner says its over 1500.

    not every card can overclock that well. even if its the same model card from the same manufacturer some will be much better overclocker than others.

    hmm this is dumb question, but did you plug in the 6-pin power?

    i ran the artifacts scanning with atitool for 1 hour w/o any error.
