Did I really miss out on all those first 7 day games, will it be bought back for the last day?
There are so many games I want and should have bought. I just bought C&C 3 and expansion and Red Alert 3 and expansion.

-
batman was on sale yesterday, left 4 dead 2 was also. Bioshock 2 was a few days ago, homefront is in a bundle with alot of other games thats all i really know. I just started browsing steam 4 days ago lol.
-
All i have right now is:
Counter strike source
Dirk 2
Just Cause 2
Red Alert 3
Red Alert 3 Uprising
Tiberium Wars
Kane Wrath -
Most probably not... but why not start playing those games first??
BTW recommend you grab company of heroes asap as well. -
Star Forge Quaggan's Creed Redux!
I do know that some games take forever for another sale to happen with them. For instance Company of Heroes never had a sale like this for today since Christmas 2009 while some games like Left 4 Dead 2 had like three sales already over the last 8 months.
-
I do not like company of heroes because it not a typical rts game and have very little base building. Thanks for the advice though. -
I have only try the demo of it never the full game, thanks man
Should I get both expansion as well or is 5 bucks still too expensive? When I buy a game I have to buy all expansion as well. -
NVM according to steam forum, it OVER
I feel like I just got rob, what a sick feeling, I don't know how I will recover from this -
Hey cheesy...
I got my steam window opens, says its ending in 7 hours....
Why not open up your steam and see if you can buy it??
BTW for CoH, get vanilla + opposing fronts, tales of valor is your choice. I had it from before hand, and its fine, but not awesomely fine, if you know what I mean.
Edit. Why you feeling so cheated?? Some of these games still retail for 20 - 40 bucks a pop... if you do get it, just feel lucky. -

Buy a new game or two as you finish them. No point in buying an overwhelming list of games, because you will never be able to play the old ones you bought, and the new ones coming out each month without making it a full time job.

I agree with Waterwizard11's advice as well. I first started buying games off Steam in October, including the Left 4 Dead series and the Half-Life series. I ended up not playing either of those for months because I was sucked into Team Fortress 2. I just recently finished Half-Life 2 for the first time a few days ago, but it took forever to get through it because I kept going back to Team Fortress and put off finishing it. I still haven't played Left 4 Dead 2 at all and I wouldn't have purchased it in hindsight had I known how much time I'd spend in TF2. It wasn't even that big a discount when I got it either.
-
Just bought the ID superpack and sanctum for like $33, and that's around 20 games, so less than $2 per game. should keep me busy for awhile, great deals on great games.
Just because some of the games are really old doesn't mean they're not fun/more fun than new ones. -
I suggest investing in some of the publisher packs if you want a lot of games right away. valve complete is $50 (for 24 games), and a few others are very cheap as well.
otherwise, don't worry about it! Steam is constantly having midweek madness deals, and there is always the christmas sale in six months. -
-
redrazor11 Formerly waterwizard11
Chances are, by time you finished 5 or 6 games on that list, it'd be time for the Christmas sale anyhow. Especially considering some games like l4d2 and TF2 have literally endless mods and custom maps to keep you busy for weeks on end.
-
next big sale most prob at christmas so oly 5 months to wait
actually they have to odd sale weekend now and again so you need to check in each day. -
Yeah you missed out on nearly every game you listed. There will be new games on sale, today and tomorrow, then the best sellers are usually brought back for the final Sunday sale.
Do you not keep the Steam client running? There have been daily popups, announcing each day's sale. -
I heard last day might have encore of previous days best sellers.
-
Mafia 2 and Mass effect 2 just hit today's sale.
-
Yeah, last year on the last day, they had a recap of them all. Changed every hour or something like that.
-
Bought Mass effect 2, still don't have any racer.
I cannot wait 5 months and I just like looking at my gaming library and kind of showing it off to my friends. And by 5 months, Guild Wars 2, Skyrim, and Battlefield 3 will be out.
I don't buy the bundle because I don't want to buy any game that I know I won't play including those indie games, and games I just aren't interested in. -
You just made my day if this is true man. -

Still waiting for these games.

I do get bore of game really quick as well so I want as much games as possible.
I want to add that looking at my steam library and see all these games make me feel very good. I do plan to play all of them.
Also many people that use Steam have over 400+ titles and ....what do you mean more games are coming out? I don't buy new game cause they are overprice, that why most of these games are cheap cause they been out for a while now, I like getting my money worth! -
The Happy Swede Notebook Evangelist
-
I am very disappointed as you can tell because I didn't get even 50% of all the games I wanted. -
The Happy Swede Notebook Evangelist
-
I'll just list my top 12 list for the games that were sale on Steam so you get an idea of why I'm disappointed. Btw I want Witcher 3 badly but I don't spent more than 15 bucks on any game so as follow:
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Mass Effect 2
Fallout: New Vegas
NFS: Hot Pursuit
Bioshock 2
Metro 2033
Left 4 Dead 2
Elder Scroll: Oblivion Game of The Year Edition with 9 DLC
Borderland
The Witcher: Premium Edition
Grand Theft Auto IV with all DLC Content (GTA new mod is awesome)
Crysis: Warhead
Daily have 12 sale, if I can get all of these are most of these, i be very happy, well more content since I didn't get everything I wanted. -

I just want to say that if a game does not support Steam platform, I just won't buy it because like i said, I like having my collection all at one place.
The problem I see with this is I want all my games at once, sure it may sound like I'm spoil, but I might spent a fews minute everytime I log into steam to view all the games I want and that make me feel good as superficial as it sound or look
Sorry my grammar suck. -
The Happy Swede Notebook Evangelist
-
how many hard drives do you have guys to store all those games -
And I have the money for it. I plan to spent $300 dollars and get around 85 games that would last me close to a decade. By the time there is a christmas sale, i would already be playing Guild Wars 2 (most anticipate game of my life, waiting for 5 years now), Skyrim, and Battlefield 3 if only it is not part of Origin network.
Even if a game slightly mark your interest, like for 4 bucks, you just can't go wrong. But i don't buy game on Impulse so even if Portal 2 was 5 bucks, i wouldn't buy it. Just not a fan of puzzle game and creating game. -
The Happy Swede Notebook Evangelist
@JonnyFrost well i have a 500gb hard drive, and a 500gb external hard drive just in case -
The witcher is on gog.com for like 10 bucks and skipping out on BF3 because its not on Steam is absolutely childish.

New Vegas is an excellent game. Well worth $20 with the DLC.
Did I just miss out on Steam summer sale?
