I do know that some games take forever for another sale to happen with them. For instance Company of Heroes never had a sale like this for today since Christmas 2009 while some games like Left 4 Dead 2 had like three sales already over the last 8 months.

Are they all going to be here on the last day really cheap?

I do not like company of heroes because it not a typical rts game and have very little base building. Thanks for the advice though.

Aww heck i'll just get it since it like $2.50 and that like how much my coffee cost :D

I have only try the demo of it never the full game, thanks man

Should I get both expansion as well or is 5 bucks still too expensive? When I buy a game I have to buy all expansion as well.

    Hey cheesy...

I got my steam window opens, says its ending in 7 hours....

Why not open up your steam and see if you can buy it??

BTW for CoH, get vanilla + opposing fronts, tales of valor is your choice. I had it from before hand, and its fine, but not awesomely fine, if you know what I mean.

Edit. Why you feeling so cheated?? Some of these games still retail for 20 - 40 bucks a pop... if you do get it, just feel lucky.

Buy a new game or two as you finish them. No point in buying an overwhelming list of games, because you will never be able to play the old ones you bought, and the new ones coming out each month without making it a full time job.

I have to agree, buying that entire list in 1 instance would be madness. Buying a few of the games then finish them and buy the rest would seem much better and more sane.

I agree with Waterwizard11's advice as well. I first started buying games off Steam in October, including the Left 4 Dead series and the Half-Life series. I ended up not playing either of those for months because I was sucked into Team Fortress 2. I just recently finished Half-Life 2 for the first time a few days ago, but it took forever to get through it because I kept going back to Team Fortress and put off finishing it. I still haven't played Left 4 Dead 2 at all and I wouldn't have purchased it in hindsight had I known how much time I'd spend in TF2. It wasn't even that big a discount when I got it either.

Just bought the ID superpack and sanctum for like $33, and that's around 20 games, so less than $2 per game. should keep me busy for awhile, great deals on great games.

Just because some of the games are really old doesn't mean they're not fun/more fun than new ones.

I suggest investing in some of the publisher packs if you want a lot of games right away. valve complete is $50 (for 24 games), and a few others are very cheap as well.

otherwise, don't worry about it! Steam is constantly having midweek madness deals, and there is always the christmas sale in six months.

Chances are, by time you finished 5 or 6 games on that list, it'd be time for the Christmas sale anyhow. Especially considering some games like l4d2 and TF2 have literally endless mods and custom maps to keep you busy for weeks on end.

Yeah you missed out on nearly every game you listed. There will be new games on sale, today and tomorrow, then the best sellers are usually brought back for the final Sunday sale.

Do you not keep the Steam client running? There have been daily popups, announcing each day's sale.

Bought Mass effect 2, still don't have any racer.

I cannot wait 5 months and I just like looking at my gaming library and kind of showing it off to my friends. And by 5 months, Guild Wars 2, Skyrim, and Battlefield 3 will be out.

I don't buy the bundle because I don't want to buy any game that I know I won't play including those indie games, and games I just aren't interested in.

Cheesy do you actually want to finish the games or do you just want them for youre steam library? Because many of those games are plus 20 hours. And considering that there are LOTS of new games coming out, and i would think you would consider purchasing them after seeing this thread. Do you actually want to finish all the games or?

That is a very good question and I want to collect all the games. I don't think I'll ever finish any of them, but just having all those games at my fingertip is such a luxury. I mean where else can you get this much about of games for so cheap? You can't get this with Ps2 or 360 or PC unless it illegal copy. I am a collector, I collect games, clothes, shoes, hats, cards, poster, etc...

I do get bore of game really quick as well so I want as much games as possible.

I want to add that looking at my steam library and see all these games make me feel very good. I do plan to play all of them.

Also many people that use Steam have over 400+ titles and ....what do you mean more games are coming out? I don't buy new game cause they are overprice, that why most of these games are cheap cause they been out for a while now, I like getting my money worth!

I travel a lot man, so I might play more than the average person. Having a powerful notebook and ton of AAA title game is like the best traveling purchase I have ever made!

I am very disappointed as you can tell because I didn't get even 50% of all the games I wanted.

The only game that were my top choice in that whole list was Mass Effect 2. I never buy game on impulse so I research and either try the demo off most game or know it good. With that said Mass Effect 2 was on my top 10 list. Mafia 2 is not, though it is a fun game.

I'll just list my top 12 list for the games that were sale on Steam so you get an idea of why I'm disappointed. Btw I want Witcher 3 badly but I don't spent more than 15 bucks on any game so as follow:

    Batman: Arkham Asylum
    Mass Effect 2
    Fallout: New Vegas
    NFS: Hot Pursuit
    Bioshock 2
    Metro 2033
    Left 4 Dead 2
Elder Scroll: Oblivion Game of The Year Edition with 9 DLC
    Borderland
    The Witcher: Premium Edition
Grand Theft Auto IV with all DLC Content (GTA new mod is awesome)
    Crysis: Warhead

Daily have 12 sale, if I can get all of these are most of these, i be very happy, well more content since I didn't get everything I wanted.

Well first off you do mean the witcher 2 right? And that game is most likely not going on that cheap sale in the nearest future... and yeah i see that those are some good games indeed, but there will always be new sales or different sites with the game under 15 bucks ; )

No I mean Witcher 1 since Witcher 2 is $33 bucks on Steam or it was. Yes they have Fallout: New Vegas at best buy for 10 bucks, might head over there, buy it and link it to Steam.

I just want to say that if a game does not support Steam platform, I just won't buy it because like i said, I like having my collection all at one place.

The problem I see with this is I want all my games at once, sure it may sound like I'm spoil, but I might spent a fews minute everytime I log into steam to view all the games I want and that make me feel good as superficial as it sound or look :D

    Sorry my grammar suck.

Ok yeah the witcher 1 have been on sale for rather cheap. But buying all the games at once is not always possible. I have around 55-60 games on steam ATM that i have acquired over 4-5 years, so it would be a bad feet to get those 60 games in a year ;)

But the price is so CHEAP man, it like highway robbery. They even have manuals so now I don't have to worry about not knowing what to do in each game.

And I have the money for it. I plan to spent $300 dollars and get around 85 games that would last me close to a decade. By the time there is a christmas sale, i would already be playing Guild Wars 2 (most anticipate game of my life, waiting for 5 years now), Skyrim, and Battlefield 3 if only it is not part of Origin network.

Even if a game slightly mark your interest, like for 4 bucks, you just can't go wrong. But i don't buy game on Impulse so even if Portal 2 was 5 bucks, i wouldn't buy it. Just not a fan of puzzle game and creating game.

@JonnyFrost well i have a 500gb hard drive, and a 500gb external hard drive just in case ;)

I wish I could play PS3 Series like Uncharted, Motorstorm, Final Fantasy, Red Dead Redemption, Infamous, Socom, Resistance, Killzone, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs Capcom, MAG, God of War, White Knight Chronicle, Wipeout, etc...

    I know I'm crazy.

Most definitely. I have have prophecy, nightfall, faction, and eye of the north. As much as I love GW, it has the single biggest flaw of any mmorpg game that I can't really shake. The fact that I always feel so lonely outside when I'm soloing make me feel very lonely, especially in Ascalon. I mostly play as a necromancer (minion master), I cannot get enough of that!

I'm not skipping out on BF3 but with Guild Wars 2 and Skyrim, I have more than enough to play. I hate EA but I like Dice, so I will be buying BF3 just not from Origin or hoping it is not from Origin platform where no matter what retailer or store you buy the game from.

So $20 dollars is worth it to you? Seem pretty pricy. The only expensive thing I bought from steam was the Prince of Persia pack for $15 dollars

Well seeing as how NV+2 DLC's is $70 on Steam(maybe a little cheaper) and I bought that pack for $20. Hell yeah, that's some good savings and I'm not even that big of a Fallout fan in the first place xD
