    Difference between 6850m and 7690m XT (2GB)?

    I just can find any test comparison between this two GPU-s.

    Which one is better for gaming?

    The 7690m XT is faster by a fairly modest margin. This can be a bit confusing: the 7690m is essentially a rebranded 6770m, so you'd think it would be slower than the 6850m, but that's not the case. In other words, 7690m~6770m>6850m.

    yea it might be right, but in case 6850 is ddr3. GDDR5 version is faster then both of them.

    Acer usually gimps their AMD gpus with DDR3 memory. D;

    But from what i gathered here on the forum a HD 6770m with GDDR5 (Don't pay too much attention to 1gb vs 2gb) is generally regarded as a good card.
    Its possible to overclock it with Sapphire Trixx too.

    Swings and roundabouts but the 6770M is going to draw less power.
