I just got a Lenovo Y570 and I'm trying to get it running the best it can without overclocking. It's at a 9400 score, but when comparing it to someone else with the same laptop, but a i5-2410M, the graphics details strange.
Both have Geforce GT 555M's running 285.62 drivers.
Comparing the 3dmark06 details, yours says under graphics card
the i5-2410M i570:
Memory
1024 MB
Core clock
752 MHz
Memory clock
1570 MHz
Driver name
Driver version
8.17.12.8562
Driver status
Not FM Approved
But mine says on i7-2670QM
Memory
32 MB
Core clock
0 MHz
Memory clock
0 MHz
Driver name
Driver version
8.17.12.8562
Driver status
Not FM Approved
Why a difference?
-
what score is the other one getting. 9400 score is quite good for a 555.

Basically the info scanner screwed up an failed to get the information.

The other one is getting 10k. That's why I'm trying to find out where the difference is. Aside from the CPU, everything else is the same...555M, 8GB DDR3.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M - Notebookcheck.net Tech
read this article, even though notebookcheck is not accurate all the time (they are crap about gtx 580m) there is some information. apparently there are a lot of different versions of gt 555m.. -
You mean lots of different versions of the 500m?
-
550m and 9500?? thats sounds really low, considering my 6th generation old 8800m GTX got 11000
