I've always thought HDMI cables are all same. However, I learned that that there are different version. The oldest one is 1.3A version whereas newer HDMI cables are now called 1.3B Someone told me that 1.3B HDMI can carry higher bandwidth resulting in cleaner image and color accuracy. Is this true? Or does this only apply to blu-ray players?
Thank you,

+1 monoprice purchased many cables from there. Also Woot.com and sellout.woot.com used to have tons of HDMI cables but I haven't seen them in a while. I purchased like 6 from woot and it was always super cheap.

As long as you get a 1.3 cable (which AFAIK is all that's currently available), you're fine. Version 1.3 has more bandwidth than 1.2 for higher resolutions and True HD audio, but there's no difference between any of the 1.3 versions as far as the consumer is concerned.

1.3 and u'r good to go
+ for monoprice, I must've spent there $200 last year, fast shipment, great prices, reliable company, can't go wrong.
Different HDMI cables results in different quality?
