    Different Rating of Same 8600GT Card in Vista

    i m confused..i setup visa 1 week bak..at that time vista rated my graphics card this ( it says Gaming graphics: 5.5) :

    but when i installed vista again yesterday from same DVD in same machine with same 8600GT driver..it says Gaming graphics 5.4..have a look:

    i've tried reinstalling the driver..bt it's not working..

    can anyone plz explain it..? :S:S

    The vista rating system is inaccurate and nothing to worry about or to compare computers with. Worry more about the proformance of the graphics card. Sometimes the same hardware gets different ratings... (ie: me and my father has the same RAM, same size, brand, speed, etc. i get a 4.9, he gets 4.3) Its totally inaccurate. Worry about the proformance instead of the vista rating.

    I wouldnt worry about the vista ratings tbh as long as the gaming performance hasnt been reduced i see no reason to be bothered about it.

    i m more than happy with my card right now..not worried abt this prob..bt was just a lil confused..why should vista do it..? LOL
