A friend of mine will be opening a net cafe soon and he has asked me a question which I'm not quite sure of the answer.
First of all the pcs will be playing WoW, CoD and various Valve games. We got the specs down but what we are missing is the Windows version.
Will there be any difference with regards to the above games if he installs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit or Professional 64-bit or Ultimate 64-bit?

I'm pretty sure no. Never heard of crysis running at a lower fps because you have professional.

You really don't need anything more than Home Premium for games.

Windows 7: Compare Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate
None of the added features seem to add any significant that would i.e lower fps or gaming quality.
I suppose running stuff in windows xp compability mode would add some functions but this is rarely used, much less when running games. -

A net cafe, you say? You may want to consider Professional at least for the added networking features. You might need domain join in the case you are going to be running them off a server.
As for gaming performance between the two, they should be no different.
