    I am having trouble installing direct x version c on my computer. Can anyone give me instructions on how to install? also i did a directx diagnostic test and it said that my direct3d acceleration was not available. help plz!

    What computer are you trying to install it on? What happens when you try to install it? We need some more details to be able to tell you anything useful.

    I have a ASUS A8JM. I downloaded some 33 mb file and installed the setup, it says installation complete then when i run the diagnostic it still says directx 9 b.

    directx_9c_redist is the install file i got.

    this is the file i downloaded, how do i install?? i extracted it, then found the setup file, and it said finished then i ran the dxdiagnostic and it still said directx 9c
