    Is it worth it to install Direct X10? Is it possible that it'll screw up my games?

    I have:
    Inspiron 1520
    Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz
    2GB RAM
    8600m GT

    Yeah, you don't really "install" Direct X into Windows. If you have Vist you've got DX10 installed. If you have XP you have DX9. Can't change it, can't opt out of it, that is the way it is.
