This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Yeah, I'm having a hard time seeing where the benefit of Intel using Mantle would be for AMD, too. Yes, it might result in more Mantle games being released, and could theoretically help Radeon sales. But anyone who's buying an Intel iGPU due to its Mantle performance is not buying *any* AMD products. So it would have to have a major positive impact on Mantle game support for it to be worth it for AMD, as they'd be losing some ground to Intel and would have to more than make that up from gains versus nVIDIA... which doesn't seem too likely. At least if nVIDIA were the one to express interest, it's a benefit for dedicated GPUs in general, and not for Intel CPUs/iGPUs, and that could help AMD's bottom line.
