    Note to all casual readers: You don't need the latest version unless your games aren't capable of running at all. If your games run fine there's no need to download the latest version just because it's there.

    A good find anyway.

    I thought microsoft was not going to release directx updates after march 2009? But anyway + rep.

    It also surprised me while I was searching and hanging around on Google.
    It(newer dx) provides us smoother gameplay on latest or future games. ^^!

    This is true. But also note that this is an update. It's all performance fixes and bugfixes. If your DX9 game is running near the edge of performance, this update could push it into more playable territory while being a fairly safe update to do because it's relatively minimal changes to the system. It's not like updating from XP to Vista.

    It will probably make minimal performance increases. This update will probably address more bugs and glitch fixes.

    Hmm, you guys think i should try out Section 8 again and see if it does not crash on me. Hell all UE3 games crash on me. Maybe i should try em out again and see what happens. o.0 what to do, HMMMM.
