I see alot of good gaming Laptops with the NVida Optimus cards. but I dont care about power consumption. If I buy a gaming laptop I want to use my Dedicated card as my primary. is there a way to disable the Optimus or switch the integrated graphics and make it your secondary as it should ?

Would disabling the Intel card in Display adapters in Device manager work ?

No. But it really wouldn't make a difference anyway. Games will run on the dedicated card. I'm not sure why you want to do what you're trying to do, except to use more power.

If you're having problems with some games, try whitelisting them manually
