Hi guys I wanted to know the difference between a discrete graphics card or an integrated graphics card with dedicated video memory? (such as the radeon hd 6520G)

If you're gaming, the discrete GPU is still a far better choice since besides the memory amount, generally it has more shader processors and higher memory bandwidth (which is much more important than the memory amount). Integrated graphics even with its own dedicated memory is still integrated graphics in the end, it's just a bit better in that it doesn't use your system memory.

If you want to game you want discrete, I.E., not integrated graphics, even if it has dedicated memory.

He's asking about Llano, which has an IGP that's comparible to some low/mid range dedicated mobile GPU...

There are no integrated graphics chips with dedicated memory (any more, the ones that did are so old as to be ignored).
