My main hard drive OS crashed one day because I had a virus or trojan replace a critical Windows file so I could never boot into the OS. It was a big hassle getting my browser bookmarks the unconventional way for IE and Chrome. The Steam install was located on another 2 TB hd but I didn't reformat the crashed OS hd... I keep it now and don't boot into it; I have many savegames on it that I will gradually transfer all of my savegames to my new OS install on my Samsung 830 Pro 512GB SSD. The Steam Library was not a problem getting to work with the ssd, but Origin seems to be a big problem. Does anyone know the process of getting Origin going after a reformat? My Origin install was on a 2 TB hd also, not on the main hd that crashed. So my new ssd can see the Origin folder on the old 2 TB hd but I don't know what to do with it.

I haven't played many games on my Origin account; just 3% progress in Battlefield 3, 3% in Batman Arkham City, 2% Crysis 3, and a little play in Harry Potter.

Yep, as mentioned above, google moving origin games... there are a couple of guides I've seen. I don't recall any special steps, basically you tell Origin where to install the games, and if the folder is already there it will recognize, update and use those files instead of a new download.

    Good luck!
