and if so, what are some models that have them?
I'm not up to date with notebook hardware, obviously.

Sager's gaming lineup have HDMI. The one in my sig does. HP's media-oriented Pavilion models have HDMI as well (i.e. the HDX series). I'm pretty sure all the major competitors have it on at least a few of their models if you would bother to look. Maybe try Dell's XPS family?

I have a dv7 and mine has HDMI output.

Alienware m17 does, and its pretty cheap as a starting price. Depends how much money you want to spend of course.

Asus M70VM has what appears to be a HDMI output, but I think that's just for audio not video.

A lot of notebooks have HDMI, including mine
, especially high-end laptops. But even .Dell .Inspiron and .Studio have one.

My DV5z has HDMI out on it. Plays blu-ray and carries sound to the HDTV. Many of the new computers have HDMI.

Most recent Notebooks with dedicated GPU will have HDMI out.
All Macbooks do not have HDMI out because Steve Jobs thinks HDMI sucks. -
even my intel x4500 very low end gpu has hdmi output. (however, the audio quality is horrible)

Most of the laptops nowdays have HDMI out .. it would be more intresting to find a laptop with HDMI IN and with HDCP support. (So you could hook up your PS3 or X360 without any hassle)

My Asus x83v has HDMI, both audio and video. My dad's dv7 also has HDMI but I am unsure as to whether it is only video or not.
