I've been searching high and low and I cannot find a proper answer. Has anyone managed to run it on a D620 with the nVidia Quadro NVS 110M 256Mb graphics?
I have given it a try but as soon as you select the map you want to play and click Start the screen blacks out and returns to windows, Ive reset all settings to low and still nothing!
So if there's anyone out there that knows please comment...

    Thanks in advance!

I just had a question, unrelated to your issue. Does this disk work in another PC?

Some copy protection prevents running disks in certain CD ROM drives; as well as virtual CD ROM drives.

it runs, i just played it a few hours ago. It worked with stock card settings and 1 gb of ram. Since, i have upgraded to 2gb of ram and did some overclocking on the card. Just make sure you use a program to make the fan speed go to max to keep the whole notebook cooler. The thing can heat up a bit with overclocking.

p.s. i forgot to say i can run it on medium settings!

The DVD of BF2 worked fine in my desktop but I downloaded the demo anyways to my D620 and it worked! Not well on medium settings :(
Fizzleation, how have you overclocked your d620 and what drivers did you use for your nvidia?
Mine doesn't run well on Medium which is a shame.

    Thanks

i was using omega drivers, but they sort of blow. So i switched over to just standards nvidia drivers and i OC'd using coolbits. It runs pretty well on medium settings, every so often you see a little lag, but nothing that makes it even remotely unplayable. It runs better than my expectations.

A little late reply, but I'm having some problems when running BF2 on my D620.

    Two things that are problematic:
    1) I have artifacts in my screen while ingame. There's a lot of black triangles which flicker a lot. Do you guys also have this? You can't miss it if ya have it.
    2) Once in a while the framerate goes down to 5 fps for about two or three minutes and then goes back to 100 fps again.

I have Nvidia Quadro NVS 110 grahics card and 2 gb of mem, 2.0 GHz CPU dual core.

I have also done a clean install recently and the problems are still there.

Hope to finally find some answers on these problems.

    Greets,
    Flashkiddy ( aka Animalm0therX ;-) )

I put the laptop on 4 small pillers and now the framerate is stable. It clearly was a heat issue........

I get 90-100 frames per second with everything set to low. So bf2 runs very well on my system.

Which drivers are you using? I was gonna download forceware 84.26 but wasn't sure if they would work with my laptop.

I was wondering what does this card equal to in terms of gamin cards. Because I have a Nvidia Geforce GO 7200, and I can run BF2 at medium settings comfortably.

i have heard it is very similar to a 7300 but it is not optimized for games therefore you see lower performance but it still works very well for me. I also saw a HUGE change when i upgraded to 2gb of ram, so keep that in mind.
