Meaning do I have to be connected the whole time to the internet to play it?

    Thanks,

Not sure why you would ask about ubisoft, but the answer is no.

ME2 is published by EA, only games from ubi will have that DRM.

Lol maybe if ME2 was a Ubi game it would? Although AC2 is really good... there are TONS of good games coming out so ya... skip the Ubi titles so they can single-handedly kill the PC market all together crying over no sales and too much piracy.

See I liked Ubi for a little while, gave them a chance and it took about a year before they were back to their old tricks. They really need to give up on PC gaming all together as they are complete a55 hats at it anyways.

No, the only "DRM" it uses is a simple disc-check, same with Dragon Age: Origins. Just how I like it. :)

Now if EA can release patches to disable the Securom DRM in their older games in line with their current titles.

If EA is removing DRM, why is Ubisoft adding it?

Having to be connected to the internet to play a game defeats the point of why I bought my laptop - I use laptops because I'm not tied to the spot, I can take it with me wherever I go. Thus, I'm genuinely not going to have an internet connection in many scenarios. I'd love to buy Assassin's Creed 2, but Ubisoft are choosing to release a product that doesn't meet my requirements. Oh well, there's always Aliens Vs. Predator.
