    Hi,

I've noticed my gpu can't be overclocked as high when I'm on battery leading me to believe the gpu is undervolting itself a little. This is with powerplay disabled of course.

    Where could I find out?

    Thanks,

    Flaviu

Ikovac...if you're reading this...didn't you say that the x700 undervolts on battery? I'm wondeirng if the same is true for x300. (Remember, I'm not talking about powerplay)

I don't think you can overclock on battery . . I can't do that on my X700 either. It's just that enough juice isn't supplied, it's a power issue.

I can overclock....almost as much on the gpu and just as much on the memory... but you're right it could just be power inadequacy....alhtough it should just drag more from the battery...just like the display does when you turn up the battery. So it might still be programmed to undervolt a little.
