Does anybody know how to ask a question on steam support?

After replacing my old hdd, and logging into steam, I get a message asking me to check my email for a code to help verify that it's me. Except that it isn't showing up in my email. So then it tells me to start an account on steam support. I did. I go to the section where I submit a question. The screen says "step 1" with two drop downs. One for product (I chose "steam") and then another where I choose the topic (account questions). The only problem is that there isn't anything after that. No "next" or "submit" button. I have no idea what to do and I'm completely locked out of my account.

I have no idea how the heck to get back into my account.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    You mean like this?
    steam.jpg
    Tried a different browser?
Also, if I remember correctly, Steam support uses a different account. You have one?

And I can't ask anybody in their forums either.... because I need to use my steam account (separate from steam support account). Which is locked.

The only thing that appears is step 1. Selecting things in the dropdown doesn't change anything

No you don't. You login with your Steam support account, write a question, and on the right side, in the "Steam Account Login Name", you write your ordinary Steam nickname.

Ok, switching from firefox to explorer made step 2 visible. Now I'm just waiting for an answer.

Did you check your spam folder? Also, maybe it sent it to a different email account, maybe one you used to use. Check the spam folder there as well.
