I tried posting in this thread but nobody is replying : http://forum.notebookreview.com/gam...guide-workaround-max-clocks-oc-stability.html

    Main questions are :

1.How do you turn off dynamic boost? The guide does not explain how.

2.Why do you need to use performance states? Everytime i start up a game, it automatically uses the game state, so i don't see why it's necessary....

3.The fan has a tedency to get really, really loud. Does anyone experience this with their 670MX?

4.What are some "Safe" speeds for the 670MX? I know every setup is different, but what's everyone's experience with OCing it? Can it hit the cap of +135 clock easily? What about memory?

5.Is there a way to apply overclocking settings at startup? Nvidia inspector OC settings only seem to last till you do a reboot.

5: Msi afterburner has that feature

4: 135+ on core should be doable as ive seen others with it.

    1. you don't have to disable the dynamic boost. that overclock guide is for people who know what they're doing, i just use msi afterburner to get the same effects, you should too.
    2. just use msi afterburner and set you fans to max.
    3. the loud fan means your card is working overtime and needs to be cooled down, as long as your temps stay under 85 celcius you're kosher.
4.you can overclock the 670mx to +135 core clock and +700mhz on memory no problem. it'll give you a 20% increase in performance. your temps will go up so you'll have to get your fans blowing at max unless you want to cook your card. i play with +135, +700mhz all the time and it only increases the temps on my msi gt70 to about 76 ceclius.
    5. msi afterburner gives you an option to apply settings at startup.

if you really want to overclock that 670mx you're gonna have to upgrade the gpu bios which will void the warranty, but will allow you to overclock that 670mx to 680m levels by letting you do crazy overclocks like +350 core clock and +1000mhz on memory, i wouldn't do that though unless you're really confident in your OC skills.
