    Does anyone know where to get an ATI mobility 3870?

    I have an area 51 m15x with an 8800m gtx that died, I've called alienware and they no longer have any graphics cards in stock, ebay doesn't have any 3870's and so far the only card that I think will work for me is the 260 GTX but thats $400.

    Can anyone help me out? I'm looking to spend $200 max.

    I think an ATI 4850 will also do the job if im not mistaken, but make sure

    I need an HD 3870 too. I called Alienware and they said it would be $400. :(

    Someone sells them for $350 on eBay.

    I just called Alienware. The rep I talked to has never heard of an HD 3870 for an m15x. He said " We don't sell parts for the old Alienware's"..... ya ok bye bye

    Try these guys. They have a few options specifically for the m15x, and may help you adapt some others if you talk it through with them. They have a 9800GTS for about $300.
