    i was looking at steam and i found out that Universe at War: Earth Assault is now just 5 bucks

    i have seen that game b4 but idk much about it

    does anyone know if it is a good game??

    Helpful as always, although I thought it would have been better for the OP to try the search function personally.

    Similar to starcraft in that the 3 different factions have different playstyles but it's not as deep and doesn't have the popularity of the former.

    Universe at War is $4.99 at Steam right now for some reason. Just picked it up. I'm always a sucker for a decent RTS. And at that price, seems you can't go wrong. Even if I get a few hours enjoyment out of it ( say 5 ), it's like $1/hr entertainment.

    I should have checked there first crash, you're always on top of it! Despite some of my reservations about Steam, they have the most excellent deals that you can't refuse. I think they're the first publishers to use some common sense instead of money gouging.
