I am gonna buy a Acer notebook 5755g, it includes nvidia's gt540m.. people in nvidia's forum are crying for a driver update cuz there's no driver for this gpu. but the threads are a little old. nvidia's site has confirmed about the update but there isnt any person who used and posted about it.. i dont trust nvidia a little bit so i just wanna confirm about the driver update. anyone who own this gpu or anyone who know about this issue plz reply.. thanks

I'd bank on it, yes.
You can always try. The driver won't install if it doesn't find the exact model and manufacturer ID of your system. You can't really break anything. -
i dont own this laptop i just wanna buy it. so i want to confirm about the update. plz i need a certain yes or no.

Sigh.
Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
If you're super paranoid you can download it and check the .inf to see that the GT540m is in fact listed in the driver just like it's advertised. If you're still paranoid ask the Acer subforum. If something doesn't work right for this specific model, they'd know. -
sorry for bothering u.. its because my bad english.. big thanks for ur reply. i m really a paranoid person.. again thanks.
