No way to detect it though.. well there kinda is, but not really, and not always, depends on the warranty and who you bought the machine from. Alienware's warranty is not broken.

On release Skyrim vanilla was CPU bound. This time has long gone by now, as there were mods that handled the lack of CPU usage in Skyrim until Bethesda implemented these themselves in patches. Not to mention the (official + unofficial) graphics mods which moved the load directly to the GPU.
Again, if I overclock the GPU I get 15-20 FPS more, so doesn't sound CPU bound to me. So please consider giving that CPU bound thing in Skyrim a rest already, will ya?
Also, I wasn't expecting, nor complaining that using this specific mod is an issue (I don't like that ENB stuff), I was giving an example why the 680M does not max out all games under every scenario.</snip>
