I've been playing through crysis warhead on the HP in my sig, medium high settings. Once I got in the mining complex towards the end (i think) I started getting weird color issues with some of the effects. When debris from explosions and gunfire gets stuck on my mask, it flashes neon colors as move through different lighting. Also, when the screen goes black when an explosion goes off near me (think it's supposed to simulate blinking), rather than going to black, it's all multi colored.

I tried seeing if the original crysis had these graphical issues on my computer, and it didn't. I'm going to try going back to some of the other levels in Warhead to see if I still get the same issues, or if it has something to do with the lighting in indoor areas.

It's probably nothing big, but is it possible this is a problem with my gpu?

It's definitely not normal, and probably suggests a GPU issue. I would contact HP's tech support and let them know about this.

Does it consistently happen only in those places, or in random places at random times?

It must be an issue with that level... The glitch doesn't happen if I start the game up and load any other level, but if I load that level and then load one of the outdoor jungle levels, I not only get the weird color issue, but there seems to be some sort of artifacting with the foliage. So the issue carries over after the initial load of the level...

Ok, even though the issue stopped as long as I didn't load that level, I'm pretty sure it's a driver issue with crysis warhead. I was in the middle of playing and I got a message saying that the game wasn't responding. Meanwhile, a little bubble pops up down in the lower left corner of my screen saying "ati driver stopped working and has recovered."

So... It seems to be a driver issue with this game.
