Thinking about buying this notebook for basic everyday use and maybe some occasional games. Not much of a gaming expert so I thought I would post the specs. For example, does this setup have any chance of even playing a game like Call Of Duty 4?

the 8400M GS is a lower range card and is not exactly recommended for gaming.
However, its power can be most underestimated if you can push the clocks far while overclocking.
I think you would be able to run Call of Duty 4 on low/medium settings with no anti-aliasing with fairly good fps.
Older games like Counter Strike Source should run fine. Just remember to not go crazy on the eye candy and resolution...it will hurt your poor gpu -
The_Observer 9262 is the best:)
If you can get a 8600,it would be better.

It will be enjoyable, I have a friend with a 8400gs and he palys cod 4 just fine, you will not play at native res, but the game still looks good out of native.
Does this setup have any chance of playing anything decent?
