    I was wondering what is doom 3 like for online play? Is there different modes and is it like the orignal doom or like the quake type of online game?

    ive only played DooM 3 online once so far, theres 4 modes TDM DM, last man standing and Tourney. ive only played Death match so far, im gonna play more when i finish single player.

    actually yes it is, people come out of no where guns blazing guess i have to get used to it. its not bad.

    Hasen't anyone played this online that they can share with us what the game is like? I love Doom but my main reason for buying any game is to play online, so any help in this area will help out a lot! Plus I have not been able to find any reviews for online play so far.

    Doom is kinda like Quake and UT Regular DM based Gameplay, most people probably bought Doom 3 for its single player, and not its MP Mode Id softwere orignally wasnt going to include MP mode in doom 3 but they just tacked it on to make it a complete game . maybe i just didnt give Doom 3 MP a chance. In my opinion I wouldnt buy a game just for MP, i buy them for there single player Mode and if it has all the elements of a Good single player game like the Doom Franciase. Doom 3 may be alittle repetitive at times but i finished the game and it was a Good experiece now all we have to wait for is Half life 2.

    thanks for the info on MP, if anyone else plays online with Doom 3 let us know what its like, I am really interested in that part. I will be buying it either way but the online part could help modivate me to get it sooner.
