    Is there a Doom 3 demo out and if not is there one coming? I want to try the game on my machine to see how it runs before I pay for it.

    i just recieved my copy of Doom 3 its actually good the sound Max Audio in the HP 5280 Does not do the game Justice, The game runs at acceptable levels. I run it at 1024x768 at Med details.

    thanks for the info ajvett I know your system is simlar to mine so it helps a lot!
    I really wouldn't like to have to lower the res. more then that. If you get a chance to play it online tell me whats it like, that is the most important part for me.
