Okay, so I suffered through all the bugs, crashes, and glitches in Splinter Cell: Double Agent only to beat the game and not be able to see the ending. After I diffuse the bomb, Sam just stands there, then the screen goes to outside the room the bomb's in and just stays there. I can't access the main menu (by pressing ESC), but I can quick load, so I know it's not completely frozen.

If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it. I have the 1.02 patch and the latest Dell graphics drivers. Thanks.

Strange. I'm very near the end of the game myself but I have stopped playing the game altogether. Overall I wasn't impressed with this iteration of the series, so I have no motivation to finish it.

    Have you tried reinstalling?

Lol man that sucks, perhaps you could download a video of the ending online?

I was thinking of reinstalling it, which I'll probably do. However, being 10+ GB, that alone will take quite some time.

I actually looked fervently online for endings when I found I suffered through such a horrible game to hopefully get redeemed by a good ending, but most of the videos I found were for other systems that apparently are almost completely different games. I think I may have found one of the pc endings, but it was so small all I could do was listen mostly.

I have to say, this game is a huge disappointment, especially when compared to the other 3 games in the series. It looks to me like they designed it for consoles then remembered, "hey, pc gamers like this game, let's give them a version too", but failed to put any effort into it. Even after the patches, it's incredibly buggy. As a whole, it looks like it's just not finished. But that's enough complaining for now. Guess I can just be glad it's over :). Glad I got it cheap off e-bay.

Yea Double Agent truly is a disappointing game when you compare it to its predecessors. Even if the technical issues were nonexistent, there's something about the single player campaign that just doesn't feel up to par with the previous games. I mean, there were some new ideas presented in this game that made it somewhat interesting, but I think they did a lot of things wrong with the game. The undercover missions are hit and miss; they're okay, but nothing spectacular. The trust system is okay but it's too easy to gain trust and lost trust as well. The daytime missions suck. The new light indicator sucks as well.

Overall, I too was greatly disappointed with this game as well. I hope that the next in the series will go back to the old formula.

Reinstalling it seemed to correct the issue. I don't see how it's "To Be Continued" though. They didn't leave anything unresolved unless the NSA decides to disavow Sam Fisher, but why would they do that? If they do make an add-on or a sequel, I hope they do a much better job.

I totally agree with iPPi, the light detection was horrible and all the daylight levels were ridiculous. How are you supposed to hide in daylight? Oh well.
