    Downloading demos with getbot

    Hey all you people who used getbot help me out. Ok so I open getbot right then what do I do to the link? Like suppose this is the link " www.Forerunner.com " and when you click it on firefox it pops up the download box and says where to save and start. So with getbot I did right click on the link and did copy link location and then getbot started and ran fine. It also said it was an application because it was an .exe file. BUT when it is downloaded it ends up being like 150 fifty .db file extensions. What gives?

    Did you stop it right after it finishes downloading? GetBot usually takes a while to compile all the small files together after it finishes downloading and it is only done when you see the blue tick and the word "DONE" on the status bar. I've been using GetBot for a while and it seems to be working well here. I got the .exe file and have not seen those .db files... :rolleyes:

    AH! so I have to see the words done. Hmm will try that. By a while you have any estimate on how long? Mine what happens it the download goes to 1 sec and i see it finish and then it still says getting.

    Depends on how large the file is.... The larger the file the longer it will take. When it says getting it means it is compiling all the small files into 1 big file for you. So you need to wait till it finishes "getting" before shutting it down and use the .exe file.
