    Dragon Age Inquisition supports Mantle..

    It's built on Frostbite 3, so of course it should support Mantle. Mantle however, has lots of stuttering for some people and the overall experience might be worse.

    ^^ Oh didn't know FrostBite 3 was supporting Mantle. Are there any other games supporting Mantle right now??

    BF4 supports it, so any game on Frostbite 3 would likely support it. BF:Hardline should as well.

    Thief 2014 supports it too, not sure of any others offhand though.

    If M$ were to be believed, development on DX12 started well before anybody ever caught whiff of Mantle...

    Eh that's a lie and we know it; DX11.2 was the biggest thing under the sun for a long time until they couldn't reproduce it except for a single plane-flying demo when they were apparently using "16MB" of vRAM by offloading the rest into actual RAM.

    And then mantle got released, and then 3D stacked memory came out, and then huge vRAM buffers (6GB+) came out, and MS went "well... that's uhh.... well YOU SEE. DX12 YES DX12 WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON IT THIS WHOLE TIME, MANTLE IS NOT THE END-ALL!" and then nVidia is like "yeah we've been working with MS on DirectX this whole time, and of course we're helping with DX12 too!" without ever actually saying that they've been working on DX12 for the same number of years (to my knowledge). Just that they've been working with them (which can be seen since DX11 in Thief 2014 beats Mantle via driver optimization, as the game isn't CPU devouring like a cow).

    ^^ Exactly, point is the competition, instead of them pushing DX11.2 on us for sometime, they speed up their DX12 process to counter Mantle being in the market early on. Better for the consumer :)
