Sweet! My VAIO F23 with a 540M can handle it, albeit at lower settings!
-
The 3GB has to be a misprint, because the 660 and 7870 are only 2GB flavours.

EDIT: Haha, guess someone called them out on that incongruity, because they just reduced them to 2GB: http://forum.bioware.com/topic/5153...quirements-and-hands-on/page-18#entry17480176Mitlov likes this. -
See, told ya XD. Frostbite 3 also doesn't use much more than like 2.5GB vRAM or so. I can turn up BF4 straight and it will hit 2.5GB vRAM on a bad day... doesn't pass 2.2GB on most days.
-
Almost identical specs to BF4.
Funny enough, BF4 recommends the same 7870 and GTX 660 but the 3GB VRAM error was never fixed.moviemarketing likes this. -

I think it will run just fine on 540m bro, no worries. A buddy of mine ran BF3 on a 420m. Though that was FrostBite2 and now DA:I is FrostBite3, I think DICE did a good job for scaling!

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this. I'm not very experienced when it comes to PC games. I really would like to play DA:I on my PC opposed to xbox but I'm afraid my graphics card would hurt the graphics enough that it wouldn't be worth it. I have a GTX 560 which only has 1 GB dedicated video RAM opposed to the 2 required for recommended settings and 512mb required for minimum. I see that I can play the game because I meet minimum specs but if I have to play on low graphics or if medium graphics are significantly worse than high I might as well go with XBOX and deal with playing with a controller and sharing the TV with the wife. Thanks for any help I can get.

first benchmarks appeared for many cards Dragon Age: Inquisition im Technik-Test - das schönste Rollenspiel überhaupt? [Update: Mantle-Benchmarks]
I think they will update later with no AA cause usually they put without aa benchmarks on 1080p.I thought performance would be a bit better but thats with 4x msaa -

i think 4x msaa is about 25% performance loss.I think you can add on those values 25% performance up and it should be without AA.Next weak game ready drivers will do a bit better -
Preorder gets you 10 bucks discount coupon, considering dragon age inquisition is kinda guaranteed to be a good game at this point with ridiculous amount of content, i think this is a good deal.

I will buy the deluxe edition but first im waiting for some feedback cause its uses the new type of DRM which affects performance like in lord of the fallen according to internet sources.

Sooo while I'm waiting on Ubicrap to fix ACU - I can't wait on this. Has anyone done the Dragon Age Keep? Pretty awesome. I never finish DA2 because it was so horrible (and confirmed how bad it was via the keep) but yeah, my plot is ready to go!

Guys, I have a i7 3630QM, 8GB DD3 memory and a gt650m @ 660 2gb (heavy overclocked).
Do you reckon the game will run smooth @ 1080p, medium settings?
Thanks! -

It will run just fine on Xbox 360 and PS3, so I guess we will have good amount of details we can get, though to max it I guess you need min R9 290x. Therefore I guess we will sacrifice some detail. But I guess my 765m will be fine running High detail with light AA (FXAA) at 900p. 9 hours to go!
-
Also, I find the differences between the various graphic settings to be quite subtle...of course Ultra does look better than Low, but there's no huge gap between the two (at least according to the video comparison posted a few posts back). Fingers crossed! -
Btw I am going with Templar tonight
Anybody else with their choices? Damn it! I am so pumped I cannot do any work today!
