I beleive that Ridge Racer is the best "Drifting" game.

Ridge Racer is all drifting, but it's completely ridiculous and not realistic in any way, shape, or form. If you want a good drift, go buy GT3 or GT4 for PS2, buy an AE86 Corolla or maybe an RX7, boost it, put fully customizable suspension and LSD on it, and figure out how to drift. It's really hard, but really realistic. Do some googling and find out the best way to drift in GT3.

Or you can go with GTR 2 which is another sim like the Gran Turismo series but about drifting, it might be hard to accomplish. I'm sure you don't want arcade "drifting" (or maybe you do) but GTR or GTR 2 are very nice simulation games that may require some skill to drift.

I would agree that Gran Turismo 3 (never bought GT4) has the most realistic drifting that I've seen in a game--too bad you're looking for a PC game. Haven't played GTR though so I can't comment there.

    How about Mario Kart ;)?

The Burnout series (specifically Burnout 3: Takedown) has a lot of drifting instead of turning as well :p
Also try Xpand Rally for the PC. Neat game. :)

Yea GTR 2 is the way to go, check out the demo if you haven't tried it. But if you are talking ps2 how about Toyko Extreme Racer: Drift or D-1 grand prix.

GT4 is nice, try it. A good lap in Nurburgring is satisfying. The bad thing bout GT is the sucky AI and no car damage. But the handling is realistic.
