    Driver Problem Call of Duty 4 Acer 5920

    I have purchased the Game call of duty 4 and after installing the game
    while executing it I m getting this error message by Console

    Error during initialization:
    Video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data.


    Can anyone help me out of this problem can I run this game on my laptop
    I have windows XP on my laptop and Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5750
    Mobile Intel Graphic Media Accelerator X3100 2 GB DDR2 160GB HDD

    What it's telling you is that your system's GMA acceleration isn't good enough to run COD4. You can check your GMA's capability against the desktop equivalent minimum required AGP's at this link: http://tinyurl.com/3dblst

    Looking at the game list, it just doesn't have the HP to run modern graphics intensive games. Even the ones it will run are at lower frame rates and low end monitor resolution.

    You always need to be aware of what your system is capable of before you purchase something. Hardware you can return, but software.....

    Well, at least with games you can get something back from Gamestop.
