When you run the program to eliminate residual files and registry entries, do you select both chipset and drivers or just the drivers?

I'm pretty sure its just the drivers, chipset refers to motherboard which doesn't have to do with the gpu.

Select the drivers for which you are trying to uninstall.

Oh dear, I think I chose both chipset and drivers the last time I used driversweeper before installing 169.25. Should I be worried?

I dunno are you experiencing any errors?

Wireless not working, audio not working, etc...If not you should be fine, a lot of time Chipset drivers reinstall themselves.

I've had an explorer crash and an IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error over the last two days. Hopefully the system fixes itself or I'll have to look up nvidia chipset drivers for reinstallation.

if it did uninstall your chipset drivers, windows will automatically reinstall their default ones. If you want to use the ones you had before they're probably on the driver cd you received with your laptop. Should be something like Intel Chipset or along those lines.

That doesn't make sense to me, driver sweeper options clearly state "Nvidia - Chipset" so I don't know if reinstalling the intel chipset drivers will be the same thing.

I understand, just saying no harm in trying if your getting computer errors suddenly.
