I Searched, I read the stickies. I'm trying not to be a moron.

But without checking over hundreds of posts and so on, this is my problem.

    I just received a ASUS F3SV-X4

As you can see, it has the 8600m GS. Pretty good Video Card I suppose.

It performs Satisfactory, But I know it can do better.

Nvidia Reports my current driver version as 101.19

How ever the operating system(windows Vista 32) Tells me "unknown"

I have tried Chaz's Driver upgrade, I've tried Nvidia's Driver update, I've tried ASUS driver update, I've even tried the 'windows' standard websearch update(it reported my drivers were up to date)

Every single one reports this message when installing.

    What does this mean?

P.S. dxdiag, windows experiance, windows display options and all other available documentation reads that I do in fact[Or am supposed to] Have the 8600m GS.

Yes I checked and re-checked to make sure I was downloading the CORRECT drivers(Each time, It was either the 8600 GS, or 8600m GS, Either way, it is[or should be] technically the same card.

What driver(s) were you using at the time?

Also, did you include the modified INF file?
