    I just got Batman Arkham City and it has a dual core optimizer it appears from AMD. Is this required for Intel? I see it was already installed on one of my PC and the program uninstalled it when it ran.

    The AMD Dual Core optimizer is only meant for older AMD CPUs who usually shipped with Windows XP.
    Its not needed on Intel hardware and should not really be installed on Vista / 7 either.
