    It says the 6970 stomps the 5870. There seems to be a CF after the 5870 missing, which you interpret.

    Congrats on the upgrade! That is a fantastic system, a huge leap over your xps.

    Dell probably just went from nvidia to nvidia on the gpus. Considering 460m SLi is well ahead of his 8800m SLI, I don't think he'll be complaining too much.

    The reason is because I had an extreme cpu so the agent that finally got me the right help decided to give me the lowest end extreme cpu in a brand new computer which happens to also be the highest end and also to match it with the most equal dual card setup, the 460m, and no i am def not complaining :D

    Oh so it was not a case of you building it with a certain budget, you just got it out of them? Haha, nice one.

    Should be a nice system, and in the future you could always change out the gfx cards if you wanted :)

    So you are going from just under 200 shaders to just under 400 shaders, similar mem bandwidth, a smaller manufacturing process and DX11 functionality.

    Also a mobile CPU that blows any mobile CPU before it out the water.

    yeah im gonna probably wait for a good but not too pricey nvidia option when it gets there.
