    Du el cards no, since they would be fighting each other :p . Du al cards should be faster in games that support it. The power requirements will be higher though as will the weight.

    The word is dual. And no, they aren't. They're very fast, they just come with the drawbacks of being heavier and using more power.

    He's just saying that two vid cards will be using up more power (less battery time) and though they will be fast in games, very few actually support SLI. Your better off getting the 7900GTX.

    you are 100% wrong.

    see the link
    http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_game.html

    also, what some people do not know, SLI is only very nice at resolutions at 1600x1200 and higher.

    pb,out.

    The SLI notebooks out right now only come with single-core processors (Turion 64s to be exact), which does affect performance:
    http://hothardware.com/viewarticle.aspx?articleid=825&cid=10
    The Alienware m9700 in that review, equipped with 2x 256MB Go7900GS GPUs and the fastest Turion 64 available, the ML-44 (2.4GHz/1MB), is still hampered by the slow CPU. Dual video cards + slow CPU = unbalanced.

    In games with a lwer resolution a single card is faster, since the overhead of splitting the work between the two cards, and recombining it slows the overall process in SLI

    However SLI and to a greater extent QUAD SLI is only worth it if you plan on playing games at very high resolution with high AF and AA on. only then will the slowing effect of the overhead be countered by the extra power of the two cards.

    PS
    Duel = a formal fight in the past, using guns or swords, arranged between two people as a way of deciding an argument
    Dual = two
