No no no, Not that good it's more like the top of the line Laptop panel! Although, it can beat and/or rival some HDTV's. :p

It runs very well no freezes....it took me 30 minutes to complete. Good demo.

    No freezes for me.

Yup 7000 series. I also have a 3D 9000 series and a 3D UN55D7000L. I like the 7000 series because it matches my entertainment system.
I've owned Sony's, Panasonic and Sharp Quattron. Nothing beats Samsung. Nothing. Doesn't Samsung manfacture the R2's LED RGB?
The resolution is better on my R2 1200P vs 1080P. Besides the resolution all 3 of my 3D LED 240hz TV's smoke it(R2) and every other laptop monitor because of the 240hz and Samsung Auto Motion Plus. The sharp quattron is a very nice tv. Your tv will smoke the R2's screen but get outclassed by the difference in resolution.

Its very hard to beat out 240hz LED TV's. Some 3D plasmas are 600hz.

Tried the demo, it had very nice graphics, but the gameplay was pretty blend and boring.

I thought it was good! can't wait till the polished release as this was the PAX demo. So I was not expecting what I expect from the final product.

The gunplay was a bit clunky, but I loved everything else.

Very true, I have compared it to my friends 46 120hz LG and anothers 52" sharp aquous and the RGBLED smokes them in color and resoulution.
My friends where not to pleased that my laptop screen was better than their TV's, but my Sony Bravia 46" XBR-46HX929 (Durp I totally forgot that my XBR is 3D ready gonna have to try duke on that now) is leaps and bounds better even my Sony Bravia 46" KDL-46W5100 is just a little better than my RGBLED. (almost comparable) The RGBLED is a very nice panel regardless, and who made the RGBLED is a debate I think SEC stands for Samsung Entertainment Corporation.( although some say it is Seiko Epson Corporation)

Only complaint I have with the samsunh 7000 series is that there's input lag. Even with game mode on there is very slight lag. Other than that it's a great tv. Not as much as a monitor.

Demo felt terribly underwhelming. Like a boring 2005/2006 shooter, nothing impressive.
Guess they think they can slap the Duke Nukem label on a mediocre game and sell it like hotcakes.

It's the realism that ruined the game. Shooters back in the day was about everything unrealistic. Carrying your whole arsenal with you, items littered everywhere to pick up, and where is my mighty foot?

My TV is also 240Hz, I know the TV does it's processing thing to make something like 24 frames extended into 240. When I connect my TV to my R3 it is only detected as a 60hz panel. Is this right, because the TV is not a true 240Hz screen right?

The reason you are getting lag on the 7000 series is because you are using a HDMI 1.3 cable, have AMP set to Smooth/Standard, are not using game mode. Once you buy a 1.4 HDMI cable, use Game Mode and set AMP to off/clear it is awesome. I also have a 9000 series and a new 2011 7000 series 3D smart TV and they also perform the same with the settings I just stated. If you use a receiver to distrube your HDMI signal, turn 24hz mode off.
It only displays the hz of the input/signal. Almost every device outputs at 60hz.

Yer, 1.4a is 3D and has a audio return channel from memory, means you don't have to use a optical cable from TV to amp.

I mainly use my hdmi to connect the HDTV to my computers so no amps needed for me. Would I still need to pick up a 1.4?
