I have from time to time for a few seconds inhibits laptop in any game. The question is: can this be implicated function Dynamic Acceleration Technology (IDA)? I just installed the utility Trottlestop, and it has disabled this feature. Now the game goes smoothly. But I'm not sure there was a reason or is it coincidence? And in general, as disabling "IDA" may in the future affect the operation of your computer? There are people who know?

I do not know what "Dynamic Acceleration Technology" is, but if throttlestop fixed your problems, you can keep using that. It might have been a Windows Timer Resolution issue that throttlestop can regulate which causes some microstuttering under Windows 8 and 8.1

IDA is basically Core 2's version of Turbo Boost.
