    Hi,

These are my new Laptop's main specs which isnt still shipped.

    Inspiron E1505, Intel Core Duoprocessor T2300 (2MB/1.66GHz/667MHz)
    15.4 Inch UltraSharp TrueLife Wide-screen WSXGA+
    1GB, DDR2, 533MHz 2 Dimm
256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory
    60GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive

I think this was a pretty decent laptop. I am not a hardcore gamer but wud like to spend lot of time with the laptop in games say 2-3 hours daily. And most of games I play are Racing games and 1st person strategy games.

Now, can anyone give me a decent enough insight into the performance capabilities of the laptop with respect to games.

Thanx, any view is highly appreciated.

    bye

The X1400 will play any game out there fine, albeit the newest will have to be turned down a bit in the settings department.

Mine runs Counter Strike Source very well. I turn down the settings, just to make the gameplay more smooth. I suggest getting the 2400 cpu though. 80 dollors more is worth it...

Overlooking the fact that its a dell :p

Yea, I agree pay the extra $80 and get the next CPU up. It'll play everything out right now at decent enough settings.
